Running for Veterans

“Live life to the fullest”

Kim Pacanins expands our tribe all the way to San Antonio, Texas and loves to include her family during all of her adventures. Here’s a little insight as to why she moves for a cause:

What has inspired you to adopt an active lifestyle (running, walking, hiking, biking, etc)?

I became active about 4 years ago after being tired of being tired and never happy with myself. I wanted to see what my body could do and I found a love for working out and running.

What accomplishment are you most proud of since you have adopted an active lifestyle?

Oh man, too many!  I feel like every race, every step, every drop of sweat is a huge testament to how amazing our bodies are.  Race wise I’m super proud of my 50 miler, I’m also training for a 100K and I’m super stoked to cross that finish line!

What music do you like to listen to while running, walking or biking?

None, I like to take it all in and feel all the feels.

Which M4AC Virtual Race has personal meaning to you?

Shades for Service. Although I don't have any direct family members who have served I have plenty of friends who do, who have/still serve! These men and women take the ultimate sacrifice to risk their lives to keep us safe.
